Cody Webb just made history at the Moab Hard Enduro by winning the race—and giving Yamaha their first-ever win in a Hard Enduro event!
“I know what I’m capable of, but I’m still surprised I was able to pull off the win,” Cody said after the race.
Less than ten days before the event, Cody was still ordering parts for his Yamaha YZ250F. He had been working nonstop to get the bike ready—and finally, it all paid off.
A big part of this success came from the support of some key people. Bob Oliver, Yamaha’s factory mechanic from 1980 to 2018, gave Cody valuable advice to help get the bike back on track. Rob Brown at Race Tech, Tyler at Applied Technology, and RK Tech also helped with engine work just a week before the race.
It wasn’t an easy week, and the pressure was high. But once Cody was happy with how the bike was running, everything came together—both mentally and physically.
“This was huge for me,” Cody said. “Once I trusted the bike, I was able to focus and make it happen.”
This win is not just a personal victory for Cody—it’s a big moment for Yamaha too. With this performance, Cody showed what’s possible when hard work, experience, and a good machine come together.
