Ultimate Hawaiian Hard Enduro in Kauai, Hawaii, hosted the second round of the AMA US Hard Enduro series, and it was an intense challenge for riders. One of the top competitors, Cody Webb, faced a serious mechanical issue but didn’t give up and still managed to finish the race.
During the race, his starter gear came loose and sheared the flywheel key, causing major trouble. But this is where the off-road spirit and teamwork came into play! Grayson Gonsalves took the flywheel key from his own bike to help Cody, while Kapili brought him an impact driver and extra tools. Even after losing almost 1 hour and 45 minutes, Cody fixed his bike and got back into the race, making it to the finish line.
“My bike felt the best it ever has, and the course was absolutely amazing!” Cody said. The creek crossings were tough at times, but he was excited to get back on the track and finish the race.
